DArla Christie Bio

Darla Christie has always been a storyteller. As an award-winning advertising and marketing professional, her publishing credits included national B2B and B2C campaigns for a Fortune 100 company. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and effectively blends strategic communication with imaginative prose. 

As a children’s book author, she brings a skillset of creativity, communication and research to her writing for the children’s market. She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and is pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Children’s Writing. 

Her most important work to date is the home education of her three children. It’s required every ounce of her marketing ability to convince her kids algebra is useful in everyday life!
